COBA/DEWAN
signed a joint venture agreement
COBA and Dewan Architects & Engineers, one of the largest world architecture companies and the leading architectural firm in the Middle East, signed a strategic joint-venture agreement in view of a joint action in the sector of infrastructures. This agreement has been signed in COBA’s head offices in Lisbon by the Chairman of COBA, Prof. Ricardo Oliveira, and the Founder and CEO of Dewan, Architect Mohamed Al Assam.
The agreement has the main purpose of implementing a strategic expansion plan focusing on infrastructures in the Middle East markets, namely in Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, Qatar (country members of GCC – Gulf Cooperation Council) and the Yemen.
The combination and complementarity of activities reached with this agreement enable both companies to offer a comprehensive range of specialised engineering and architectural services and, therefore, a larger capacity to meet with huge infrastructural projects like those that are expected to be launched in this region.
